Task Force: Future of the Arts

Task Force Charge

Provost Dwight A. McBride and Emory College Dean Michael Elliott convened the Task Force on the Future of the Arts in 2018 with the charge to identify priorities for investment through 2025 that will increase the impact of the arts across the university.

The task force, charged within the context of the One Emory strategic framework, is examining the potential of strategies that range from new academic programs to enhanced physical spaces to broader collaborative relationships in the greater Atlanta region and more.

Task Force Report

The Office of the Provost and the Dean of Emory College heartily thank the committee for their service, vision, and commitment to the future of the arts at Emory and in greater Atlanta communities. Next steps and future action items will be communicated following further review and planning with the faculty, dean, and other university leaders.
