Dr. John F. Latting is a distinguished leader in higher education enrollment management, serving as Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment and Dean of Admission at Emory University since 2011. In this role, he oversees the recruitment and admission of incoming freshman and transfer students for Emory College, shaping the university’s undergraduate community through strategic enrollment initiatives and data-driven decision-making.

With a career spanning multiple prestigious institutions, Dr. Latting has held leadership positions in the admissions offices of Johns Hopkins University, Caltech, and Stanford University, where he played a pivotal role in advancing enrollment strategies and fostering academic excellence. His expertise in educational policy and management research is grounded in his doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Ph.D. in educational policy and management research.
