Kelley Lips
Kelley Lips serves as Associate Vice Provost of Enrollment at Emory University, where she is a member of the university’s leadership team overseeing undergraduate enrollment strategy. In this role, she leads enrollment planning for Oxford College, Emory’s distinctive liberal arts-intensive campus, and manages admission, financial aid, and registrar operations.
An alumna of both Oxford College and Emory University, Kelley brings deep institutional knowledge and a student-centered approach to her work. Since beginning her career in Oxford’s Office of Enrollment Services, she has served in multiple roles across the admission landscape, from campus visit operations to overseeing selection strategy. Today, she leads a talented team of 24 and collaborates closely with university colleagues to align Oxford’s enrollment goals with Emory’s broader strategic priorities.
Under her leadership, Oxford College has experienced record-breaking growth in application volume, a significant rise in academic preparedness, and expanded national and international reach. Kelley’s work is rooted in data-informed decision-making, enrollment analytics, and strategic storytelling, helping to elevate Oxford’s role within the university and attract right-fit students who thrive in a liberal arts setting.
Kelley earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and educational studies from Emory University, a Master's Degree in mental health counseling from Mercer University, and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Georgia’s Institute of Higher Education. She is a frequent presenter on strategic enrollment management and passionate about expanding educational access, building collaborative teams, and fostering inclusive excellence.
