Projects and Strategic Initiatives

The Enrollment Projects and Systems Project Manager at Emory University is a mission-critical role that connects Enrollment Management operations and the broader institutional priorities of excellence, innovation, and access. This position is responsible for guiding the planning, development, and implementation of integrated systems and process improvements that support the full spectrum of the student lifecycle—from prospect to alumni. Its reach spans multiple critical areas, including admissions, Oxford College enrollment services, financial aid, student accounts and billing, and the registrar’s office, ensuring that each project is operationally effective and strategically aligned.

By managing complex, cross-functional projects, the project manager enables Emory to stay ahead of students' evolving demands and the regulatory environment. Their work ensures that systems are responsive, scalable, and future-ready—capable of supporting high-touch services, data-informed decision-making, and technological innovation. This includes optimizing workflows that enhance the user experience, reducing redundancies that burden staff or students, and increasing real-time visibility into key performance indicators across the enrollment continuum.

Crucially, the project manager serves as a collaborative leader who bridges gaps between diverse units, translating institutional goals into actionable outcomes. Their expertise supports university-wide initiatives such as improving access and affordability, increasing student retention, and fostering inclusive excellence. As a result, they don’t just manage systems—they help design the infrastructure that powers Emory’s ability to deliver on its promise to students.

In supporting these efforts, the Enrollment Projects and Systems Project Manager directly contributes to the success of Emory’s Enrollment Management mission: to attract, enroll, and support a dynamic and diverse student body while providing a seamless, student-centered experience. In doing so, this role advances Emory’s broader institutional mission to create, preserve, teach, and apply knowledge in the service of humanity.
