Celebrating interdisciplinary humanities

Members of the campus community and the public are invited to the Interdisciplinary Humanities Conference at Emory University on Monday, March 26, 2018.

Emory University President Claire E. Sterk, Provost Dwight A. Mcbride, Emory deans and senior leadership, Emory faculty, and special guests are gathering at a special day-long event designed to explore:

  • The roles of the interdisciplinary humanities and liberal arts throughout Emory University, and
  • The future of the interdisciplinary humanities in higher education and the wider society.

The Interdisciplinary Humanities Conference, organized by the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost, is the culminating event of the Humanistic Inquiry Program made possible by a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
