Development Opportunities

Faculty Affairs ensures that all faculty have opportunities for career development and support. From their first day on campus, faculty will find a wealth of resources designed to support their success, regardless of whether they are a new faculty member, a mid-career scholar or a senior academic leader.

Working closely with the schools, the Office of Faculty Affairs connects faculty with professional development opportunities, mentoring programs and resources that enhance teaching, research and service. Central to these efforts is the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (CFDE), which supports faculty in all aspects of their career, from research and scholarship to teaching and pedagogy and professional development. Our faculty development initiatives are grounded in a commitment to equity, inclusivity and excellence.
