William P. Timmie Professorship
The William P. Timmie Professorship was established by the Emory University Board of Trustees in 1973. Three named professorships were established in memory of Mr. Timmie, a longtime manager of Atlanta’s Capital City Club and Emory benefactor: one professorship was designated for the Emory College of Arts and Sciences Chemistry department and two for the School of Medicine.
