Fall Semester

This survey of First Years across Emory College and Oxford collects information about experiences prior to college, and additionally allows students to evaluate their experience so far, including their experience with orientation.

The Emory Police Department (EPD) strives to deliver professional police services in partnership with the community. Feedback from faculty, students, and staff helps us identify ways to improve campus safety across the Emory community. The department conducts surveys with community members shortly after they have interacted with EPD.

IRDS works with the Emory University Chaplaincy on the Spiritual Interests Survey, which seeks to collect more accurate information about the spiritual and religious demographics and interests of all Emory University students. The information is used to connect me with relevant opportunities during my time at Emory.

The Tenure and Promotion Advisory Committee (TPAC) is responsible for conducting evaluation of all candidates who are nominated for appointment or promotion to associate professor or professor with tenure, or for the grant of tenure at rank, from all departments, if applicable, and from all of Emory's schools and colleges. TPAC Elections serve as the mechanism by which faculty vote and elect members to the Tenure and Promotion Committee. There are 8 school-based TPAC members and 4 at-large TPAC members. The committee member term is three years, with one-third of the panel newly elected each year. Elections are generally administered annually in the Fall and Spring to replace those members who are rotating off. For more information, please see the Tenure and Promotion webpage.

Spring Semester

Emory has been a leader in sustainability in higher education for nearly two decades. As of 2025, Emory is currently rated Gold according to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and ranked #5 in Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges. Each year we ask for campus community feedback on your knowledge of and attitudes towards sustainability. Your feedback enables us to share our successes, improve our programming and contribute to a more sustainable world.

The COACHE Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey, commissioned by Harvard University, assesses faculty experiences and workplace satisfaction across higher education institutions. It provides institutions with benchmarking data, insights into faculty concerns, and actionable recommendations to improve faculty retention and engagement. COACHE is not scheduled for AY2025-26.
